Before diving into the different jars and lids we have been using, we first want to discuss something common to the Pearl Jars ecosystem. The build quality of the various products is something worth mentioning. We have been using them in multiple projects, and everything is just like new. We are very impressed by the quality of the stainless steel and rubber gaskets.

Now, let's talk about the Pearl Jars's products. Starting with the jars, this brand offers two main canning jars, the Mariposa and Luna Preserving.

The Mariposa features a swing top endowed with a convenient opening mechanism. A notable benefit is the secure attachment of the ceiling gasket to the glass cap, preventing detachment and thereby promoting a more hygienic canning environment.

The Luna Preserving showcases a traditional screw cap, a two-part closure, and a detachable (not glued) ceiling gasket that remains secure.
