Cook All Kinds if Food in Your Pizza Oven

If you follow us on Instagram you've probably seen us cooking all kinds of foods in our outdoor pizza ovens. We have been using the Ooni Dual-Sided Grizzler Plate to cook a lot of different foods, including steaks, burgers, or even fish.  As we always said, pizza ovens aren't just for pizzas!

Cast iron has been used for centuries and it has always been a popular choice among chefs and outdoor cooking enthusiasts. Ooni Cast Iron's durability and ability to withstand extremely high temperatures, an impressive 600°C (1112 ºF), make it your perfect cooking partner for years to come.

The Ooni Dual-Sided Grizzler Plate already comes pre-seasoned with vegetable oil which makes it ready to use as you take it out of the box. Although we always like to add a few extra layers of seasoning in our cast iron cookware, the first time we cook with this plate, we use it without adding any layers, and we had no problems with food sticking to the plate. In fact, we are loving to cook with this plate.

The large cooking surface area of the Ooni Dual-Sided Grizzler Plate is something that stands out in this product. You can easily cook 3 steaks at once without worring about overfilling the plate. Even though it has a considerable size, this plate can be used in any Ooni oven, or in most outdoor barbecues, open-fire cooking, and domestic ovens and hobs.

Inside the Box

Double-sided Grizzler – a cast iron grilling plate with ridges on one side for searing meats or roasting vegetables, and a flat side for sizzling chicken wings, corn on the cob, loaded potato skins and much more.

Two removable cast iron handles – designed to help you safely transfer your Grizzler dish in and out of your Ooni pizza oven, the handles hook onto either side of the dish to help you place it into the oven and then take it out again once the cooking’s done.

Wooden trivet – a thick beech wood serving board that holds the cast iron dish perfectly when it comes out of the oven, and makes an attractive way to present food and protect your table at the same time. Made from FSC-certified wood.
