If you already follow us you probably know that we really like the products that Hario makes, like the Hario Skerton or the Hario V60 Coffe Dripper. As a result, we decide to write the Hario V60 Scale review to see if this product is at the same level as the other products.

The Hario V60 Scale is a product specifically designed for the specialty coffee community. This equipment is the junction between a gram scale and a built-in timer, two things that are essential when brewing manually. With a max capacity of 2000g and varying scale intervals, depending on weight, of 0.1g (2-200g), 0.5g (200-500g), and 1.0g (500-2000g), this scale will both suit professional baristas or home coffee enthusiasts.

In our opinion, these small variation increments, depending on weight, are something that doesn’t make much sense. But the most important thing is that these variations don’t affect the final product. Another aspect that we don’t like in this scale is the fact that it only starts weighing until 2 grams are added. Like the variation increments, this issue doesn’t affect the final product but for an equipment like this, these small mistakes are not acceptable.

If you eliminate this two aspects the Hario V60 Scale is almost perfect equipment, great build quality, incredible precision after the 2 grams and easy to use with touch-sensitive buttons.
