Instructions

  1. Put your V60 and cup on a scale. Heat the filtered water to 94 ºC (201 ºF). Thoroughly rinse paper filter to get rid of paper flavor.
  2. Grind 15 grams of whole bean coffee (fine-medium grind). Pour your ground coffee into the filter and give it a gentle shake. This will flatten the bed, allowing for a more-even pour.
  3. Start your timer, then pour around 30 g water into the coffee. This process should take about 10 seconds.
  4. Allow the coffee to blow for 30 seconds.
  5. In approximately one minute, pour the remaining water and give it a gentle stir to get rid of any harshness, and let it flow a bit.
  6. The brewing process should be completed within 2m30s.
